How to submit a letter to the editor

#CrisisTalk is a publication designed to facilitate crisis conversations, and letters to the editor are greatly valued. Letters should be exclusive to Crisis Now; we do not accept open or third-party letters. Crisis Now encourages diverse views and voices. Letters should be roughly 500 words in length, directly refer to a #CrisisTalk article, and include the author’s name and phone number. In a letter to the editor, please address the problem or share innovations that respond to a concern highlighted in the article. Please do not send attachments, but, instead, add the text directly to the email body and send to The editor will notify authors of selected letters within two weeks. Letters may be edited and shortened for space.
